Individual, couples, and family therapy has been my chosen vocation in Seattle for over 33 years. Working with a broad range of ethnic, cultural, physical health, gender, sexual and socioeconomic diversity during that time has led me to be open to and respect many different perspectives. The challenge of helping others different from myself has always intrigued me. I have successfully assisted others who have experienced all levels of problems – from simple conflict to the impact
of traumatic events. I have, also, worked many years
helping individuals and families suffering
the pain of abuse, loss, and chemical dependency.
During the past 27 + years I have also provided clinical consultation and professional supervision for Mental Health Counselors, Couples and Family Therapists, Social Workers, case managers and students of all the above (working privately, in schools and nonprofit organization).
I am an Approved Supervisor and a 24 year clinical member of the Washington State and American Associations of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a Washington State designated Child Mental Health Specialist.
